This policy will outline the measures and protocols we have implemented as a result of COVID-19, to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Our staff will be utilising PPE following the guidelines provided by our professional regulatory bodies, the UK government and Public Health England. This will include the use of face masks, nitrile medical gloves and plastic aprons.
Before and after all appointments, all of our equipment used in sessions will be thoroughly disinfected using high-quality disinfectant products.
Our staff will thoroughly clean their hands, including wrists and forearms, before and after patient appointments. We will also provide hand sanitiser for our clients/patients to use before and after any face-to-face appointment.
We have completed a COVID-19 Risk Assessment and this is reviewed regularly in line with the latest developments during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
What we ask of you
To protect our staff and patients, please do not book an appointment if you, or anyone in your household are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19. The main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:
· Fever or chills
· Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
· Muscle or body aches
· New loss of taste or smell
· Sore throat
· Congestion or runny nose
· Nausea or vomiting
